Building Fire 2051 E. 16th St. N. (7/20/2008) : SQ10 on scene gave heavy fire showing. SQ10 was fire attack, E10 took command, E5 was water supply, SQ5 search the west half of the building. E1 was search and rescue, AP1 set up on the west side of the building, Station 4 assessed ventilation needs. Fire attack crews got a great knockdown considering the amount of involvement.

2 Alarm Apartment Fire 10550 E 21st St. N. (5/26/2008) : SQ18 advised heavy smoke showing before arriving on scene. On scene they gave a large amount of fire showing from a 1 story apartment complex. SQ18/Q18 started search and rescue/fire attack. SQ14 assisted on fire attack along with SQ3 and E6. Q14/SQ10 were search and rescue. E5 was RIC. E10 was relief for fire attack crews and took care of utilities. HR4 and SQ4 were ventilation. BAT1/BAT9 had command.

Crews knocked the body down from the exterior and AP1 was set to provide back up on the defensive attack. SQ1 was fire attack with SQ5. E5 was water supply. E10 was RIC.

Garage Fire 2400 N. Hillside (4/29/2008) : SQ10 on scene gave fire showing on a detached finished garage. SQ10 was fire attack. E10 hooked up to the hydrant and pumped the fire. 10's got a good fast knockdown on the fire. SQ14 assessed utilities. Q14 was RIC/ventilation.

Building Fire 15100 E. 69th St. N. (3/13/2008) : Dispatched as a shed fire, was quickly upgraded to a building fire. There was heavy smoke and orange glow showing from Woodlawn and K254 Highway.. E37,T37 on scene gave fully involved large building/barn. E37,SQ18 were fire attack. BAT32 took command, T32 shuttled water with T37. E38 investigated possible exposures and assisted with fire attack. E6/Q18/Andover Fire were disregarded. Benton Tender 75 also helped shuttle water. BAT34 took safety from Andover Fire's Deputy Chief. E329 and SQ328 assisted with overhaul.

Building Fire 1312 E. English (3/7/2008) : PD was called to this address for an audible alarm. Upon arrival they found the building to be on fire. A regular alarm was toned out. E5 was first due and had fire showing. E5/SQ5 were fire attack. E2 was search and rescue. E1 laid in a 5 inch and 3 inch supply lines. Q4/HR4 forced the overhead doors and assisted with looking for extension. SQ10 was RIC.

Building Fire 4600 S. Broadway (3/3/2008) : Station 19 on scene and reported fire showing with heavy smoke. SQ19 was fire attack, Q19 took initial command and assisted with fire attack, SQ34 assisted with fire attack, Q34 was search and rescue, E12 layed a 5 and 3 inch water supply to Q19, then was RIC, BAT2 took command, BAT1 assisted Safety(181) with recon, Q4 and HR4 opened the front and back overhead doors. AP2 was positioned to set up with E2 supplying AP2 with water, both crews were on standby. Crews found fire in the building which spread to a motor home. Station 19 made a good quick knockdown preventing the fire from spreading to the store front.

The apartment was built above a two car garage.

House Fire E. Boston & S. Terrace (2/18/2008) : E9 arrived on scene and advised that they had smoke and flames showing from a duplex. E9 was fire attack, and BAT9 took command from the start. AP9 was assigned to RIC and E5 established a 5 in water supply for E9.Q15 was assigned to complete a primary and secondary search of the duplex. SQ15 went in to assist E9 with fire attack and SQ2 was in charge of finding any utilities since this unit was a vacant unit. Fire attack was able to get a good knock down on the fire.

Quint 32/Tender 32 were fire attack, E37 pumped to Quint 32, and assisted with fire attack, Tender 37 set up a dump tank. E33 assisted with fire attack. BAT32 was command, SQ13 was safety until BAT34 arrived. Valley Center Tender 411 and Tender 33 also assisted with the water shuttle. County Investigator also responded to the alarm.

House Fire 927 N. Crestway (12/13/07) : SQ5 on scene had smoke/flames showing from the roof of an attached garage. SQ5 was fire attack, E5 took intial command then transfered command to BAT9. AP9 was assigned to ventilation and E5 officer was sent in to join his crews and be fire attack group leader. E9 laid a water supply to E5. Fire attack advised that the fire was in the attic and they were having to pull ceilings to accesss the fire. AP9 set up ventalation and took care of the utilities. Search and Rescue and Q14 assisted with pulling ceilings and assisted helping fire attack knock down the fire. Crews made a good knockdown on the fire.

House Fire 2324 E. Shaddybrook Ln. (11/21/07) : E10 on scene had smoke showing from a 1 story residence. E10 went in as Fire Attack and found a fire in the living room and the bathroom. E10 made a knock down in about 5 minutes. E5 was Search and Rescue. BAT1 took command from SQ5 as soon as he arrived on scene. Fire Crews had to fight there way through a lot of debris to get to the fire. E10 made a good stop to save all but the bathroom and part of the living room. Utilities were pulled by E5.

Garage Fire 364 N. Rutan Ave. (11/20/07) : Station 5 on scene gave heavy fire on a detached garage. E5 Fire Attack from the West, E9,SQ5, and E10 were Fire Attack from the East, BAT9 was Command. A power line that was still arcing forced crews to back up from the structure. Fire attack crews did a great job at stopping this fire from spreading to any of the direct exposures next to this fire.

BAT 1 made a quick 2nd alarm then went to a 3rd about 30 minutes later. 181 Safety, AP1, AP2 Aerial Attack, E1 Fire Attack, E25 Pumped, BAT 1 Command, BAT2 South Division, HR4 Ventilation, Q4 water supply for AP1, SQ1Fire Attack, E11 Water Supply for AP2, E5 Fire Attack, SQ5, SQ2 E10,SQ12,E328, E7, 191, 192, E2 MA1, all investigators also responded to the alarm.

Garage Fire 2428 N. Jeanette (11/8/07) : SQ7 o/s had a code 3 fully involved on a detached garage. SQ7 initiated fire tac. E7 took command at first. Fire tac advised that there is ammo in the building. E1 pulled a water to supply to E7 who pumped the fire. E7 advised command that there were also lawn mowers and gasoline in the building. E7 was exposure protection, and advised that the exposure to the southwest (the House) had fire in the attic.

Building Fire 533 S. St. Francis : Building Fire at 533 S. St. Francis at 3:45 A.M., SQ2 was there on a dumpster fire and found fire inside the building on the first and second floor. E2/E26 were East Division, E1/E25/Q4/SQ2/HR4 were West Division with access to the 2nd Floor. A lot of the fire was contents and rubbish.
