SQ5 on scene had smoke/flames showing from the roof of an attached garage. SQ5 was fire attack, E5 took intial command then transfered command to BAT9. AP9 was assigned to ventilation and E5 officer was sent in to join his crews and be fire attack group leader. E9 laid a water supply to E5. Fire attack advised that the fire was in the attic and they were having to pull ceilings to accesss the fire. AP9 set up ventalation and took care of the utilities. Search and Rescue and Q14 assisted with pulling ceilings and assisted helping fire attack knock down the fire. Crews made a good knockdown on the fire.
